Believe it or not, I disagree with lists that tell you to wear this, and say that, in order to be confident when it comes to being around guys. Being anything or anyone, other than YOURSELF is a recipe for disaster!
You will be having to second guess everything that you say, watching your every move, and will not be relaxed at all! This will give mixed signals to any guy and you will either make a total fool of yourself, or you will come across as having something to hide.
- Just what it is that scares you about going out there and just being yourself?
- Would you really want to attract someone by being someone else anyway?
- How long do you really think that you could (or would want to) keep up the pretence for?
Just be yourself and that way, whoever you do or don’t attract, it will all work out for the best in the long run as you can only attract someone who is most suited to the real YOU.
1. Wear Ghatever Makes You Feel Like A Goddess!
And no, this does not have to involve layers of make-up and six inch stiletto heels! If you feel sexy and sensual when dressed in jeans and a sweater, then by all means, go out dressed like this! When asked what they find most attractive in women, men tend to say ‘confidence’. A woman who is relaxed and at ease in her own skin – if you are zippered up into the world’s most uncomfortable corset, you are not likely to be oozing an air of relaxation are you. Men do not seek perfection, and what one man considers to be beautiful, is different to the next. So get out there, just be yourself, and you cannot go wrong. Simple!
2. Understand What Makes A Man Tick...
Men like to feel as though they are admired for what they do, what they can do – they like to feel like the provider, and the king of their castle. Compliment a guy on the fact that you can tell he has been working out, and you’ll grab his attention. Once you have his attention, he will soon turn the tables on you and strike up a conversation. So don’t sit across the room staring from a distance, not knowing how to approach a guy. If you like him put yourself out there.
Keep it playful to begin with and avoid the deep and meaningfuls – this is to be shared if you begin dating. Don’t give too much of yourself away to begin with. Let him work you out.
3. Know That Men Love To Chase A Woman...
Men love to chase a woman anyway, so try not to worry too much about being the one to make all the moves. Just enjoy being appreciated for who you are, and if a guy likes you, let him do so. Confident women don’t appear needy or grateful that a man shows some interest. Never ever forget that this guy wants YOU and the harder you are to catch, the longer he is likely to keep hold of you. However, there is a clear difference between being chased, and playing games. You do have to let him catch you at some point, that is of course, if you want to be caught. But remember that men love to chase women, and appreciate the female form. So never ever forget the power that you have when you walk into a room.
4. Practice Positive Body Language...
Practise good posture, and learn how to stand tall! Walk from the ‘hips’ and understand the power of that feminine swagger. Guys notice a woman’s body language, and love a woman who is confident. So understand how to show that inner confidence without even saying a word. Through practising this body language, you will soon be feeling as you are acting. Have you ever heard that old saying about smiling even if you feel sad on the inside? Once you smile, you will naturally find that your mood follows. So even if you don’t feel it on the inside, you can start by faking it on the outside, and the rest will follow.
5. Keep Thinking Positively...
More often than not, we believe that things will go wrong, or that we are this terrible person and low and behold – what happens? Things go wrong – the mind is a powerful thing, as us humans are great at telling ourselves stories. If you believe something strongly enough, you can almost will it to happen. Read up on the ‘law of attraction’ – what you focus on grows. And so if you believe that no man ever notices you, chances are, they won’t as your every fibre in your being will be giving off nothing but negative and defensive signals. Let yourself believe that something good will happen and keep visualising it. Try this and just wait and see what happens! If you want that guy, just believe in it and it really can happen!
Above all, just remember that guys adore a woman who can just be herself, and this really does not take ANY effort, as being yourself should be the most natural thing in the world, if you are trying TOO hard then you are doing something wrong here – just relax!
